Which is certainly not that far out of the realm of possibility at all when it comes to ole Buckshot Jones. Also, as far as I can tell, Rich Bickle in this race is the only "rotor button" DNF status currently recorded on the site. 3. possum posted: 08.10.2020 - 6:20 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) @2 - that is unusually specific. Typically they'd just say "ignition" and leave it at that. 4. rm posted: 08.10.2020 - 6:34 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Must have been a thing for the All-Pro guys that year, a few races later Billy Bigley Jr. has what looks to be one of just two "spur gears" DNF statuses on the site (the other being courtesy of a 1980 North tour race at Mont-Laurier). You would think after ~70 years' worth of stock car races, just about every conceivable DNF status has popped up at some point by now, but even in the last few years we've seen "shock bolt" appear for the first time (2016 ARCA at Chicagoland) as well as "roof hatch" (2019 Xfinity at Daytona), though to be fair that was an innovation that didn't really exist at the time of, say, this very race. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
