Pretty much anyone who watched the Busch Series between 1996 and 2001, when Kenseth ran Chevy exclusively in that series. 6. RaceFanX posted: 01.31.2016 - 11:12 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Big multi-car wrecks, as often seemed to happen in these late model showdowns at Nashville, brought out two red flags during this race... The first came for a nine-car wreck on the opening lap of the race. The chaos started when a red car, I think it was Chad Chaffin's #95, came off turn 4 a little slow and traffic backed up leading Mark Gerke to run up the back of Mark Green with Gerke's #41 ending up on top of the rear end of Green's #27. Many others got involved trying to miss the initial incident. The second was for the "Big One" that everyone remembers when a lap after a restart Jody Ridley and Tammy Jo Kirk got together. Ridley spun and Kirk went straight into the outside wall, setting off a free for all that blocked the track and collected a lot of cars. Ridley's #98 Ford burst into flames after the accident leading Jody to bail out while the car slide down the track into the wrecked car of Ricky Marshall. Ridley was held up a little but his radio cord not unhooking but got it off and easily ran to safety. Polsitter Eddie Mercer was among those taken out. Toby Porter got into Rick Crawford and caught a little air before crashing into Mercer's #72. 11. He spun in turn 1 bringing out a caution then was taken out in the "Big One" right after the restart. 12. rm posted: 01.18.2019 - 5:49 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 80 DNF reason - handling 81 DNF reason - crash The 76 DNF'd too, he was seen pulling into the pits with 2 to go and when the checkers flew you could see a similarly colored car pulled just behind the pit wall. 8 sponsor - Nielsen/Lefthander Chassis 95 sponsor - Discount 8th through 11th were all running at the end 13.
