Dirk Stephens managed to up-end the car after getting squeezed into the
front stretch wall. Rather similar accident to the one David Green would
have the next year in Cup.

Mike Cope spun while running second after contact with Brad Payne's
lapped car and then third place Wayne Anderson early in this one, tore
up the nose of his car a little in the process, and still rallied back
to finish third. Making this feat a little more notable Cope's 360
didn't bring out a yellow.
