Hutter's car failed the post-race tech inspection and was disqualified. This would have been his only major stock car victory. With Hutter DQed after the race Scot Walters inherited the victory. It was his second and final All-Pro win. This race was broadcast live on TBS. 2. The former Snowball Derby winner made her name in the series, finished in the top-10 in points for 1996, and moved on to race in the Truck series for Geoff Bodine in 1997...but the her turn in the pickups would not go as well as hoped. 5. The title battle however ended almost immediately when his title rival Toby Porter got the outside wall hard on the second lap, knocking his #80 out of the race and giving Porter a broken collarbone in the process. Neither Cope or Porter would return to the All-Pro tour full-time in 1997 as they tried to move up the ladder, Cope never ran a full season in this series again. 6. rm posted: 01.18.2019 - 6:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) First caution - laps 3-8 - 80 accident turn 3 Second caution - laps 23-36 - rain Third caution - laps 54-59 - rain Track name was Miami-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex 7.
