It had been dirt previously. 3. rm posted: 09.26.2018 - 5:56 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) An addendum to that - St. Augustine did not pave the pit area until 1998. 4. I can't find a ton of info on this now-defunct track so I would assume the pit road was still dirt at the time. 6. rm posted: 07.04.2019 - 8:39 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Christian's pole speed was 105.988 mph Winnings (selected): Fultz - $8,775 Harmon - $4,175 Young - $3,000 Reutimann - $1,400 Long - $975 T. Goodson - $550 Anderson - $1,125 Sanders - $475 Parker Jr. - $820 Hamilton Jr. - $250 Christian crashed from the lead on lap 13 while in lapped traffic. It was only a 3-car incident, but a lengthy red flag came out to clean up the mess. Mike Harmon came out of nowhere on the G-W-C finish and nearly beat Fultz but came up short. Yes, Mike Harmon was actually a pretty good late model driver back in the day before becoming a back-of-the-pack mainstay in Xfinity competition! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
