Ron Young's second-place run was his last top-10 run in the series. Former All American 400 polesitter Tony Walls' third-place finish was his best finish in the All Pro series and his only top-5 run. Anderson's win capped off a 49-race win streak in the series for Chevrolets. The streak dated back to Anderson's own win at Myrtle Beach in mid-June 1997 but it would get snapped by a Ford win in the 2000 season opener. 2. This ninth-place run in the season finale marked his only top-10 run of the season and thus his first top-10 in the series in more than eight years. This was Bonnett's final race in the series as he moved over to ASA in 2000. 3. rm posted: 09.26.2018 - 12:53 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) DNQ info: Franklin - #7 Spitzer Dodge Sales Chevrolet Littleton - #2 Auto Trim Design Chevrolet Long - #11 Group III Asphalt Chevrolet Bland - #77 Jasper Chevrolet Goodson - #23 Easy Care/Quaker State Chevrolet Smith - #20 Juba Glass Chevrolet Hanson - #60 Magic Construction/Prairie Ave. Chevrolet Sieg - #38 S&W Automotive Chevrolet Awbrey - #5 StreetWires/Esoteric Audio Chevrolet Brack - #75 Brack Electric/RC Radios Chevrolet Gardner - #98 Dean's Chug-A-Lug Milk Chevrolet Wimmer - #25 Country Kitchen Chevrolet Wittman - #97 Dan & AJ's Bar Chevrolet Kirby - #65 Mapco Express Chevrolet Walters - #55 Auto Books/Southern Metal Products Chevrolet Ferguson - #2 Shoney's/Pizza Plus Chevrolet Ingole - #18 Southern Insurance Chevrolet Porter - #80 Fruit Works Chevrolet 83 sponsor - Moon Pie 4. This would be his final start in the NASCAR series where he was once a regular; by this time he was a full-time racer in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. 5. He'd lead the first 125 laps but never held the top spot again although he remained a contender throughout the race en route to a fifth-place finish. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
