The performance was still enough for Anderson to clinch the All Pro series' 2001 title over Randy Gentry as Gentry fell out a few laps later in a crash. The title was the second for Anderson in the series. Kudos to Gentry for putting up a title fight as he never won an All-Pro race. 3. This was Hoffman's second and final win down south. Fellow Illinoisan Erik Darnell, then a relative unknown, comes home second to complete a 1-2 for the Midwestern talent. 4. rm posted: 09.20.2018 - 9:50 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This race was actually at the Nashville Superspeedway, not the Fairgrounds, per preseason press releases. The average speed and time of race support this as well. 5. rm posted: 09.21.2018 - 5:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) This was one of the richest purses in Southeast Series history. Future Brickyard 400 winner Paul Menard crossed over to make his only All-Pro start here, even reversing his number from #18 to #81 to accommodate series regular Richie Beasley, but ended up sidelined by a blown engine. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
