Ron Esau took the lead with a pass in turn-8 of the last lap. What else
there is about the battle is unknown.

More info:

Margin of victory was 3 seconds

Esau's winnings were $4770
Hoenshell's winnings were $2875

Hoenshell had come out on top of a battle for the lead, only to blow the
engine coming towards the line on the last lap. He managed to still
score second though.

Randy Becker blew his motor on lap 38

Hoenshell said that he got bumped at least 5 times during the battle for
the win.
