Troy Beebe's sixth and final Southwest Tour win, and his only one that
didn't come driving his series staple Taco Bell #93. It looks like he
may have changed teams just before this race, it was his first start in
the Lyon Racing #11.

Randy Olson's second-place finish was his best in Southwest Tour
competition. This was his only top-5 of 1990.

The invert for the field was 10 putting fast time Randy Olson in that
position for the race. He was finally able to maneuver through the field
to second but didn't have time to get to Beebe.
