Bob Lyon takes the lead late and goes on to claim his maiden Southwest
Tour victory, and his only one of the 1993 season.

Only start for Mike Cooke, who was unfortunately killed during
qualifying at Phoenix a few years later.

Lyon's winnings - $4,555

Ron Hornaday Jr. won the pole, unsure of the speed.

Hornaday was in the lead when he had a tire go flat and ultimately
finished a lap down. Lyon's margin of victory over Inglebright was
apparently tied for the closest finish in series history at the time.

Dennis Dyer, in an Oldsmobile

Dyer was attempting to return for his first race since he crashed in a
test session at Saugus in March, resulting in a fractured vertebra near
his neck, a sprained wrist, a herniated disc and a pinched nerve that
left him on the sidelines for five months.
