Ken Pedersen's final Southwest Tour start nets him his third and final
victory in the series. It was his first win since 1991.

Greg Biffle, a Truck series rookie, crosses over to make his only
Southwest Tour start but crashes out.

Hubert drove through Portenga which took Portenga out of the lead. Paul
Dube had a severe wreck and NASCAR threw the red flag to attempt to try
to finish the race under green. Upon return to yellow, NASCAR penalized
Hubert to the rear of the lead lap cars for his part in Portenga's spin.
Ken Pedersen inherited the lead and was able to hold off a late charge
by Kenny Shepherd to win.

It was Jim Pettit not Dube that had the severe wreck.
