Craig Raudman picks up his only win of 2000 as the NASCAR Southwest Tour
competes on the streets of LA for the final time. This was the series'
final race on a street circuit, LA was the only one it ever ran.

Great to see these races did get some TV coverage and this one is now
available online. The only footage I can think of that was available
before was stuff from the 1998 race that aired in an episode of "Baywatch."

Irwindale Speedway racer and future Winston West competitor Tim Woods
made only five starts in the Southwest Tour with this being his only one
that wasn't at his home track. Woods didn't have a road racing
background but turned in a spectacular run as he finished fourth to
claim both dos only top-5 and top-10 in the series.

a street course.

Fred Roggin, Dan Hubbard and Mike Bagley were the commentators. Patrick
Healy was the pit road reporter. Jennifer Bjorklund was the roving
reporter.
