He limped back to pit road but the damage was already done. Meanwhile, on the track, Montana native Ken Kaltschmidt wrecked moments later - no word if the fluid from Crafton's car had anything to do with it. Greg Pursley finished 3rd in his road course car. Why on earth was he running a road course car at Phoenix, essentially a superspeedway by the Southwest tour's standards? Well, his primary car was stolen in Las Vegas.
