No word on if that was the chief cause of the 8-car accident on the first lap when they finally did get going, a chain reaction incident that involved cars from the front row all the way through the second-to-last row. How did the water that caused the last caution get on the track, you might ask? The sprinklers in the infield came on. And stayed on for quite a few laps before they finally threw a caution to turn them off.
