This race was originally scheduled for September 18th but was postponed
due to rain from a recent hurricane in the gulf.

A race in Arizona.

Ford went 0-for-15 in the first 15 NASCAR Southwest Tour races at
Tucson. The series' final visit to the track sees Pettit break through
to finally give the Blue Oval Boys a win here...and driving the only
Ford in the field no less against 23 General Motors entries.
