Lindley status - engine

Margin of victory - under caution
Average speed - 72.979 mph
Attendance - 7,671

Laps led: Ingram - 83
The only lap leaders were Ingram, Shreeves and Lindley.

DNQ: Bubba Adams in a Pontiac (failed inspection and was not allowed to
start)

Billy Adkins, who appeared to have struggled based on the fact that he
was 20 laps down, spun out with 3 to go and ended the race on a bit of
an anticlimactic note. Butch Lindley had the best car but had a long pit
stop under caution while leading and was nearly a full lap down by the
time the green flag waved on the ensuing restart.
