This track probably hosted events when it was the Late Model Sportsman
series.

Lisa Jackson finishes 17th in her only NNS race. Best finish for a woman
in her NNS debut until Shawna Robinson in 1991.

I believe Jack Ingram started 2nd instead of 5th.

Jack Ingram started 5th in this race according to the NASCAR media guide

Ronnie Silver drove a Pontiac in this race

the top 4 all completed 200 laps, 5th place completed 199

The Busch Series' Inaugural 200 at Asheville Speedway ends up being a
one-off...but as Post 2 accurately predicted it had been a regular stop
for the old Late Model Sportsman National Championship for more than a
decade before this. This track was closed and demolished 17 years later.
