After this victory, Jack Ingram only needed to finish 30th or better two
weeks later at Martinsville to win the 1982 Budweiser Late Model
Sportsman title.

There were 6(!) events here that year. I think there were 6 there the
next year.

00 status - crash

Ard was dumped by Tommy Ellis, and it may have ultimately cost him the
championship.
