I'd say this is a pretty disappointing start, as 3rd place was over 600 points back, and 7th was over 2000 back. It isn't as bad as today, as KB would have a 700-point lead over Bristol-rival "I will beat his ***" BK. 5th would be 2000 back. This series had no point in starting, nor the Truck Series, especially because of $peed. 10.
