At least 12 ARCA drivers attempted the event, and the field of 30 was set first through pole qualifying and then a heat race where these 5 ARCA vets were among the DNQs. 10. I'm not sure if there were any before that time period or not. 13. Also not sure what would have happened in the case of any duplicate numbers should any of those drivers made the show, I would guess the southern Busch regular teams had priority. 15. Davey Allison was credited with the ARCA win, his 8th and final in the series. Allison, Bobby Dotter, Bosco Lowe, Bill Venturini, David Simko, Lee Raymond, and Kirk Bryant were all ARCA entrants. It's the only time ARCA has had a combination event with either of the top two series of NASCAR. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
