He finished the race with his car only running on five cylinders, although that's not as bad as it sounds because his car was a V6 as was par for the course in the Busch series at this time. Still mad at each from their epic battle in the Winston all-star race the week before Geoff Bodine and Dale Earnhardt got together again in this one, Dale almost spun when Geoff rear-ended him but it was the cars of Larry Pearson and Darrell Waltrip right behind them who seemed to get the worst of it as Pearson's front end suffered damage and Waltrip spun sideways but recovered quickly. All but Bodine would go on to finish in the top-5 anyway. Rusty Wallace crashed backward into the water barrels at the end of the pit road during this race, his #72 Kodiak Pontiac was sidelined by the damage. Later in the race Rob Moroso hit the wall in turn 4 and ended up riding along the outside wall all the way to the start/finish line. 4. 23andJoe posted: 08.15.2014 - 7:52 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #4 owner: Frank Cicci 5. The late Tom Usry, a part-time ARCA racer at the time, also makes his final Busch start and went out with a transmission failure just a few laps after Treichler. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
