He's better known as an owner or ESPN commentator but this was the
NASCAR debut of Andy Petree as a driver, crashing out after 4 laps. He'd
run 3 more Busch races in 1988 and one more in 1994 in addition to some
Truck races in the early 2000s.

This was the first race on the new Richmond configuration. On 4/30/10
Allan Bestwick eluded to the race when he asked who the first one to win
on the new configuration was. "Harry Gant" uttered Andy Petree, and then
Petree asked, "Who was the first one to hit the wall?" Bestwick replied,
"Andy Petree!" At least he can joke about it now!

6.) The only "kid" in this race was Rob Moroso. All other drivers were
grown men. Calling Ingram, Ellis, Houston, Sawyer, Pearson, Grissom,
Spencer, Thurman, and others "kids" is insulting to those drivers.

Bob Varsha and Johnny Hayes were the commentators. Bill Hennessy was the
sole pit road reporter. Dave Despain was in the Mac Tools pit
communication center.
