Big dispute after this one, Mr. Excitment lived up to his name by
spinning Dale Jarrett for the win with two to go.

Both Spencer and Jarrett were fined after teh incident.

It was the 2nd time in the season's first 4 races D.J. was spun out
while going for the victory after the season opener at Daytona.

Was watching highlight video from this race. I can't how few lights were
there for a night race. It was a good race

Dale Sr. spun Rob Moroso during the race. Too bad this one wasn't
televised.

According to broadcast, the event name should read "200", not "400".

Mountain Dew 400 is correct for this event. The BGN series ran a 200 lap
event, and the Winston Racing Series Late Model Stock Car division also
ran a 200 lap event that day.

Jimmy Spencer also wrecked a young Jeff Burton in this one. Burton was
in his rookie season in Busch Series. After getting spun by Spencer,
Jarrett was so mad he went flying through the field to get around to
where Spencer was and Jarrett ended up wrecking and doing damage to both
Tommy Ellis and Max Prestwood's cars. Then continued on to park right
behind Jimmy Spencer in victory lane, while Jimmy was celebrating his
1st ever Busch win, Jarrett was out of the car taking his helmet off
wanting to fight Spencer.

Ahhh, the good old days of Nascar.
