Hey, SPENCER, Jimmy lapped the field on his way to victory! It's the
only time he's done it in NA$CAR, but then again, how many guys have
done it since 1989?

Geoff Bodine did in 1994 at North Wilkesboro. I believe that's the only
other time it happened though.

Dominating run by Spencer that day.

And Harry Gant lapped the field at Dover in September 1991, but I'm
pretty sure that only he and Bodine have won a NASCAR race by a lap or
more since 1989. If anybody else, not more than 4 or 5. Of course, the
modern-day "lucky dog" free pass will eliminate any chance for a driver
to keep the whole field a lap down.
