Michael's first win in an actual Busch car. His previous win was in a
Busch East car, back then they ran companion races in the Northeast.

That's not entirely true WillG46. Michael's first win was in a Busch car
in a Busch race (driving DW's car) but some Busch North guys were
entered in the race.

morgan shepherd finished 10th in this race. worth mentioning because 23
years later he is the only one of the top-ten finishers in the race who
is still competing full-time. at 70 years old!

There was a qualifying race for the feature. It appears anyone outside
the top 20 fastest in time trials was in the qualifying race.

DNQ: Kelly Moore #47 Jordan Lumber Chevrolet

There is video of this race available (I have a copy). It's a shaky
single home video camera. Seems like a guy standing on top of a hauler
in the infield. It's not great, but it's better than nothing.

For the record, Michael Waltrip never entered a Busch Series race as a
Busch North driver.

This was a combination race with the Busch North Series.

Webmaster: You have two drivers starting 36th, but missing a 26th.
