Dale Jarrett, at this point in his career still hadn't won on the
Winston Cup level yet. This was his 5th career Busch Series win though
and the 1st win that his father Ned got to call while working as the TV
analyst.

Nothing was bigger than when Ned got to call the Daytona 500 that his
son won in '93. That was special. But I'm sure they all were for the
father in the booth.

The first caution included the number 48 getting damage in the crash as
well. Also sponsor on the hood was Sunoco.

Crew Chief on car 17 was Sandy Jones. Benny Parsons referenced him
during the race.

Crew Chief for car 1 was Bill Davis. BP referenced him as owner and crew
chief.

Crew Chief for car 7 was Chris Carrier. Jerry Punch referenced him.

Crew Chief for car 32 was John Ervin.

Hillin was a Post Entry. 99% (or maybe 100%) of the time when you see
something like this in that era, that's the reason.

Mark Martin had the dominant car in this race but blew an engine late in
the race while leading giving the lead to Michael Waltrip, but three
laps later Waltrip had to pit for fuel giving the lead and the win to
Dale Jarrett

Dr. Jerry Punch and Ned Jarrett were the commentators. Benny Parsons was
the sole pit road reporter.
