While this was Sterling's first major NASCAR win, it was his last Busch race for over a year 3. Imagine the commentary "Tommy Ellis out of four, The Goo Goo Clusters Buick wins at Charlotte." Funny stuff. 5. Goo Goo Clusters is a very popular brand of candy in the American South, they are basically a big blob of marshmallow trimmed in caramel then covered in peanuts and coated in chocolate. There's also a peanut butter version. 9. Does anybody know if that race was televised or if there are parts of it recorded somewhere to watch? 12. Qualifying was rained out hence why Jeff was in that race despite being fast enough for the main field in practice. 14. He was already looked at as probably the best driver not to get a win at this point in his career in Winston Cup, had gone so long and came close without getting one, and yet would still have to wait nearly 4 more years. He didn't run Busch Series hardly at all but I'll bet even getting a first one here felt great. This was one of the biggest events of the year in NBGNS. 15.
