This was another crash marred Goody's 300, which many were back then due to driver inexperience. 2. Also, he and his owner Ron Parker weren't new to each, they ran two Cup races the previous season, they decide to go full-time and think Cup would be too hard? 5. Did he buy a backup car from another team or is it just a site error? 9. nascarman posted: 03.08.2009 - 12:41 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Bobby Labonte didn't qualify for this race and since he was going for the championship, Terry let him drive his car. 10. As said before the Detroit Gasket #72 actually had debuted in Cup the year before with Leslie at the wheel. 11. In '92 and '93 he for other teamsat Daytona and in '90 he didn't attempt Daytona. So it has to be 1991. 14. He got a loaner from his older brother Terry to stay in the championship hunt and as said before quickly wrecked that one too. Don't feel too bad for this rough start, he still won the title this year. 18.
