In 1992 his Busch car changed into the Kodak #4 with a new sponsorship that matched his Cup car. This was Ernie's only Busch win on an intermediate track. 5. The Cup drivers in this race (Ernie Irvan, Dale Jarrett, Rusty Wallace, Harry Gant, Dale Earnhardt, Bill Elliott, etc.) were not driving for their Cup teams, and most were actually driving cars they owned. Though they dominated and won this race, that wasn't always the case back then and the Xfinity regulars actually had a chance. 10. A practice crash at Martinsville meant the #1 team had to borrow a car from another team at that race. Gordon, Davis, and their crew would be back in the #1 T-Bird for 1992 but the blue Carolina Ford scheme gave way to a white-and-red look as the team picked up a new sponsorship from Nestle's Baby Ruth candy bars. 11. 48johnsonfan posted: 06.21.2019 - 12:46 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) 5, 6, and 8: There is now a full race on YouTube and it will show you if the information about when Ernie took the lead back will be solved, as well as the caution breakdown as well. 12. Kenny yielded the car to his brother Rusty during the race and Rusty Wallace led 32 laps. Rusty Wallace did do the practices and qualified the car, as said by Rusty on the TNN broadcast for the race. 13. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 06.23.2019 - 5:05 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 21-23: #12 engine Caution 2: Lap 49-53: #58 accident turn 2 Caution 3: Lap 56-60: #1 accident turn 1 Caution 4: Lap 85-88: #97 stalled turn 2 Caution 5: Lap 141-145: #87 spun turn 4 Caution 6: Lap 149-158: #05,6,39,58 accident turn 3 Caution 7: Lap 171-173: debris Caution 8: Lap 179-183: #18 accident turn 3 14.
