I'm assuming this race was run on July 5, 1992 since the Pepsi 400 in
Daytona was run on July 4. That means there is no way Ernie Irvan ran
and won at Daytona and Watkins Glen on the same day!

Chad Little makes his Busch series debut, and both his only start in
1992 and his only one in an Oldsmobile, but drops out near halfway with
mechanical issues. Little would become a staple of the series during the
mid-1990s.

Mark Martin makes his only Busch start at the Glen and goes out early
with a mechanical problem leaving him well down the running order. While
Martin had numerous successes in the series, and won at the Glen three
times in Cup, he tended not to enter its annual Busch series race
despite it often being held on a Cup off weekend in the mid-1990s. Out
of his 236 Busch series starts only two came on road courses and neither
resulted in a good finish, this was his only appearance at one during
his "Buschwacker" days as he was a series regular when he raced at Road
Atlanta in 1987.

Dave Rezendes comes home fifth to pick up his first top-5 in just under
two years. It would be his last in the Busch series.

Ernie Irvan crosses over from Winston Cup to pick up the second of his
three Busch series wins. Irvan took the Kodak #4 Chevrolet to victory
lane at the Glen in both Busch and Cup competition.
