Butch Miller was 23 laps down, but he finished 10th! 2. SK posted: 11.10.2007 - 8:23 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Stanton Barrett's Busch Series debut. 3. Shepherd and Spencer touched going into turn 1, causing Shepherd's car to slam the inside wall head-on, slide up the track and get t-boned by Labonte. A big fire erupted as well and Morgan had to helped from his car, but he would be alright. 6. After the race, Burton pulled up alongside Bodine's car and bumped it a couple of times. 7. Shepherd went to the inside to try and pass Spencer but they touched and trigged the wreck just before he made it three-wide. 8. Points leader Joe Nemechek ended up being the first driver to meet the wall when his #87 smacked the outside wall on lap 2, ruining his night. Kenny Wallace won the pole in his first race with Jeff Hammond as his crew chief. He fell back after Jeff Gordon gave him a slight bump on lap 5 to take the lead. Rick Wilson makes his only Busch series of 1992 and finishes 6th, it was a bit of comeback for him as he hadn't run in NASCAR's top-level series since losing his ride in the Stavola Brothers #8 Cup car after the Daytona 500 that year. It was a somewhat good night for car owner Charlie Henderson as both Wilson's #77 and his teammate Butch Miller in the #75 finised in the top-10. Interestingly Stanton Barrett was credited both in audio and by ESPN's on-screen graphics in this race as Stan Barrett, Jr., the broadcast also called him Stanton after his crash so it wasn't too consistent. 9. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 08.19.2015 - 9:44 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 42-50: #9,92 accident turn 2 Caution 2: Lap 53-56: #7 spun turn 4 Caution 3: Lap 124-128: debris Caution 4: Lap 158-164: #1,72,77 accident backstretch Caution 5: Lap 172-177: debris backstretch Caution 6: Lap 200-214: #20,21,44 accident turn 1 Caution 7: Lap 240-243: #8 spun turn 2 10.
