It was his second win of 1993 but his penultimate triumph in the series. 5. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 10.13.2017 - 10:32 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Caution 1: Lap 51-55: #5 accident turn 2 Caution 2: Lap 117-130: #25 accident turn 3 Caution 3: Lap 138-143: #97 accident turn 4 Caution 4: Lap 147-151: #0 accident turn 4 6. jensenators posted: 12.16.2017 - 10:42 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tommy Houston had to switch to the 0 because Mike Stefanik out qualified him in his BGNN #6. Ken Wallace and Jeff Spraker make their only BGN start of the year. 7. I know that usually means they were a "post entry" and running for prize money only and no points because their entry fee and registration wasn't received on time. But this was one of the combination events with the Busch Series and Busch North Series and Curtis Markham ran all 19 events on the Busch North schedule in 1993, including this one and finished the season 4th in points. I can't find a list of what the final points standings were in Busch North for 93 on the site, but can imagine missing out on 112 points had to have cost him at least 1 or more positions in the final points standings. Actually, looking at this and other combination races from the Busch North side of the schedule on their pages for these races, it appears the scoring was different for them in these races. Were they only racing against each other in these races? How were the Busch North Points decided in these races, and I assume it would've been the same for the Sonoma and Phoenix races in Winston Cup for the Winston West drivers? Somebody straighten me out here, confused, lol. 9. Jimnsimforever posted: 02.05.2019 - 8:19 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Speaking of confused, Nascar was big time confused about this race. The had a lot of teams irate at them because of them saying several cars were 1 lap down after the 2nd caution. That's why they kept riding around wasting 14 laps of the race during that one trying to straighten it out. Then after the 3rd caution, a couple teams got even more irate at them, including Todd Bodine's, who originally thought they should've been on the lead lap and were put 1 lap down, got that lap back. Nascar then said Bodine was 2 laps down and that the lap he made up made him still 1 lap down. It was just a mess. 10.
