Also retiring early this was the 10th and final NASCAR Busch series race for World of Outlaws legend Sammy Swindell. 9. saltsburgtrojanfan posted: 06.17.2014 - 6:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Cautions Lap 40-45: #2.51 accident turn 2 Lap 56-64: #10,16,27,66 accident turns 1/2 Lap 92-97: #51,74,93 turn 2 Lap 103-107: #93 spin backstretch Lap 111-116: #30 accident frontstretch Lap 125-129: #2 spin turn 2 Lap 136-140: #55 spin turns 3-4 Lap 145-147: #72 spin Lap 151-156: #1,44 accident turn 3 Lap 172-177: #31,34,59,92 accident backstretch Lap 182-185: #87 accident turn 3 Lap 188-191: #19.25 accident frontstretch 10. The Truck Series didn't start until 95. What a time for Tracy Leslie to pull off his only career Busch Series win. In the Busch race the week before at Talladega, Dale Earnhardt won and basically threw Leslie under the bus in victory lane. He not only pointed out "that boy in the 72 flat out turned Ernie" but then proceded to say he was all over the track all day and Dale was glad he didn't end up getting him too. I'm sure a superstar like Earnhardt, at the top of his game looking like he was going to breeze to an easy 6th Cup title calling out a guy that hadn't gotten a win on the Busch level yet for wreckless driving put a lot of pressure on him. 17. She nevertheless got behind the wheel and battled to a strong 12th place finish, and was seen on the broadcast still signing autographs for kids after the race had concluded. Incredible composure amidst a gut-wrenching personal tragedy. 19. Robert Pressley and Todd Bodine both split the lapped car of Troy Beebe while trying to fight for the lead, then coming out of turn 2 all 3 cars ran out of room and wrecked, with Larry Pearson plowing the back of Steve Grissom's car and sending it briefly airborne in the aftermath. Later, Ward Burton (already a couple accidents into his night) found himself in 2nd place and closing in on leader Joe Nemechek, when he drove right into the back of Nemechek and spun him out, allegedly due to soft brakes on his hobbled Hardee's Chevy. Ward unthinkably still finished 4th after all his car had been through. Finally, in what was as good a summation of this evening as any, Terry Labonte started 3rd, fell 3 laps behind in the early going, then made them all up and finished...3rd! 20.
