Dale Earnhardt finished 2nd, but was found to have an illegal engine in
post race inspection. He was relagated to last place.

Got video of Benson's flip. First stock car blowover @ Michigan I
believe. took only 7 more years to get #2.

I'd actually like to correct something here. Benson's crash happened on
lap 2, not lap 1. Benson's finished only 1.5 laps at the largest track
he'd ever started on.

Darrel Waltrip makes his final Busch start as a semi-regular. Waltrip
made just more starts in the Busch Series after this, an appearance at
Nashville driving for Terry Labonte in 1995 and an appearence at
Martinsville in 2006 driving his brother's "Aaron's Dream Machine"

Ernie Irvan sank what was left of Benson's car after the crash in a lake
to use it as a bass feeder.
