His streak of 351 consecutive starts appeared to be over, but Rick Mast let Houston start the race in his own car and relieved him mid-race. Also, 7th straight victory for Martin if we combine his Winston Cup and Busch Series starts. His streak would be over next evening, as he finished 6th in Miller Genuine Draft 400. It's kinda weird that at that point in 1993 Martin won all 5 races he managed to finish in his #60 Ford. 4. stricklinfan82 posted: 08.26.2015 - 10:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Notes from the live TNN broadcast of the race: DNQ List: # 1 Rodney Combs # 5 Richard Lasater # 6 Tommy Houston # 9 Mike Wallace # 12 David Bonnett # 15 Clay Brown # 16 Chad Chaffin # 17 Darrell Waltrip # 35 Shawna Robinson # 39 Mike Hovis # 46 Steve Hoddick # 57 Jason Keller # 73 Brian Ross # 79 Dave Rezendes # 94 Casey Elliott To The Rear: # 0 Tommy Houston (driver change; Rick Mast qualified and relief drove) # 45 Greg Clark (missed driver's meeting) # 64 Mike Wallace (driver change; Jimmy Spencer qualified and relief drove) # 72 Tracy Leslie (missed driver's meeting) It was also mentioned during the broadcast that the #0 team was owned by Rick Mast (not Richard Jackson). 5. New York Brian Ross ran #73 on the (then) Busch North series which had similar rules to this series back then. 6. With their short track Buick too banged up to race after getting wrecked a couple of times at Bristol two races earlier the team instead used one of its Chevrolets in this race. 14.
