Dennis Setzer was hired as the new driver. He would end up being the last driver for Daniel Welch as the team was shut down after 14 races in 1995. Pressley drove the final four races of 1993 in the Richard Jackson owned Skoal Classic 0 car. For most of 1993 Robert Pressley was having a great season. After the 19th race at Bristol he was 3rd in points. He suffered a terrible slump toward the end of the season. He had five DNF's in the last nine races, with only two top 10 finishes. He would only finish 8th in points after having championship aspirations earlier in the season. TNN aired this race. The network announcers believed that part of the reason Daniel Welch replaced Robert Pressley with Dennis Setzer is that Pressley already had a Winston Cup ride lined up for the start of the 1995 season. He would be replacing Harry Gant following Gant's retirement after the 1994 season. Welch decided at that time to start breaking in Dennis Setzer for the 59 ride. 10. wrank fakefield posted: 05.11.2014 - 9:47 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) One of the great races of 1993. Last 30 or so laps were a total turkey shoot. 11. The Arrowhead brand wouldn't win in the Busch series again until Bobby Labonte triumphed at Dover in May 1997 to give the next generation Grand Prix its first win. 16.
