Granted the two Wallace brothers both finished in the top-5 with single-digit numbers and Ricky Craven (#2) recovered for a top-10. While Craven rallied for a top-10 his points lead took a big hit. He came into this race leading David Green by 49 points with Green lobbing off most of that with a runner-up performance. The title was becoming a two-man fight and Green's fortunes were about to get even better. 6. He had a 14 second lead on David Green in 2nd and Mike Wallace in 3rd with 20 laps or so left until Pearson got into the back of him and spun him. Then it would've been interesting to see a one lap shootout, but Brevaks car needed to be towed until the wrecker finally got over to it and it fired up and he drove it away. 7.
