Benson had his tumble the previous year, driving a team car to Ernie
Irvan. However, this race was rain delayed, and ESPN showed the previous
year's race (including said blowover), so I can understand the confusion.

Bobby Labonte tallies his only Busch win of 1994 and his only one in the
Dentyne #33. This was also his only Busch win at MIS.

The three cautions in the race would be the most in a Michigan BGN race
till there were 5 in 2001.

From 1995-2000 the BGN race at this track had one or fewer cautions.

John Kernan and Kyle Petty were the pit road reporters.
