This was likely because of the beating he put them during the race. The 6th place doesn't really show how well he ran since he was one of 2 or 3 guys that really had a chance at winning. 2. That car might have been a Chevy too but I'm not sure. 3. RaceFanX posted: 01.02.2008 - 7:31 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) David Green's first of two wins in 1996. This was the first win for car owner Buz McCall and the first ever NASCAR victory for sponsor CATERPILLAR 4. Although he had a provisional from Grissom's runs earlier with the time and could have run his first Busch race since 1987 here he choose not to use it. He still made a comeback running two races later in the year. Tommy Houston's car in this race was indeed a Ford. 9. 44andJoe posted: 12.24.2012 - 6:43 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) To the back: #0 Tommy Houston (driver change). 10. While Sadler drove his own outdated Lumina, and IIRC ran well in the opening laps before falling out, it looks like he picked up some backing from the Diamond Ridge team. Later in the season Diamond Ridged hired him to drive its #29 World Championship Wrestling Chevrolet full-time and he closed out the season with the team before running full-time campaigns in both 1997 and 1998. 18. The Nascar Latemodels were there for a 100 lap race that they included to come up with the 400 name. 19. Orr had 3 DNQ's and a best finish of 34th in the first 7 races. Lepage started his tenure with the team with two straight top ten finishes. 20.
