This was the last busch series race on the old configuration.

#4 Tim Steele- HS Die / CIMLINC (for this race and the next six while he
drove the #4)

After running the standard Phoenix car at Vegas Tim Steele brought his
ARCA sponsor HS Die (a family business) into Busch starting with this
race. At first they ran the standard red-with-white eagle Phoenix paint
job just with HS Die added to it but by Texas the entire #4 Chevrolet
had Tim's red ARCA paint job.

The commentators were Dr. Jerry Punch, Ned Jarrett and Benny Parsons.
The pit road reporters were Bill Weber and Ray Dunlap.
