They DNQ'd every week and often wrecked. Both Kenseth and Robbie Reiser are out of racing. 3. Nashville always had lights but this race was typically a day race. 10. It was an especially impressive run as this was the first of five starts for Purvis in Larry Lockamy's #28 Chevy, he started the 1997 season as a series regular but parted ways with James Finch after Atlanta earlier in the season so he had to dial back to a part-time campaign starting here. 11. 20 Years Behind posted: 06.04.2017 - 10:51 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Who was the winning crew chief for this event? 12. It worked out ok for him. They did mess up though and kept reporting that it was his very 1st race in the Busch Series when he had run 1 race in 96 at Charlotte. 15. Jimnsimforever posted: 04.13.2019 - 9:24 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Tony Eury Sr was definitely the crew chief for Steve Park. Dale Earnhardt Jr's crew chief was Wesley Sherrill. Tony Eury Sr was the crew chief in every race for Dale Earnhardt's primary Busch car from clear back in the day when it was the #8 car through the 1999 season after which he left to go to Cup with Dale Jr, with the exception of 1 race that Ray Evernham was crew chief when Andy Petree drove the car. Don Hawk is listed here as Jeff Green's crew chief in 95 but it was Eury Sr, Hawk was Dale Earnhardt's business partner. 16. You never knew whether he's going to have 40th place pace or 4th place pace, the only thing for sure was that he'll find a way to wreck whether his fault or not. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
