RaceFanX posted: 04.07.2018 - 10:28 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Kevin Lepage and the David Ridling-owned #88 team lost their sponsorship from Hype energy drinks leading up to this race but picked up a new sponsorship to replace it...however instead of starting it off instantly the team instead gave its black #88 Chevrolet a teaser scheme with a cryptic sponsorship declaring "TBA 10/4/97" as they wouldn't be revealing their new backer until the fall Charlotte race. The team ran the TBA livery for a few races but the big reveal that truck-rental company Ryder would be their new sponsor. 8.
