Before the crash was over, another half-dozen cars were involved. 9. RaceFanX posted: 12.27.2007 - 1:34 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Major NASCAR debut of Matt Hutter 10. Dale Jarrett and the #32 team DNQed for this event so the decision was made to put Bobby Labonte in the car so he could get the car into the race with a past champions provisional. In doing so, they inadvertly bumped Larry Pearson from the field. Perhaps they felt bad about it and realized they could get the same provisional with Pearson because the team made a deal for Pearson to drive the #32 instead of Labonte. 11. It was a Lumina though. 16. ericthenau posted: 01.11.2013 - 10:48 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Billy Kingsley, Mark Martin drove a #32 Chevrolet in the 1993 Goody's 300, and he used his regular #60 Ford in the 1994 and 1995 editions of the Goody's 300, too. 17. 83andJoe posted: 06.24.2013 - 11:40 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #66 crew chief: Sandy Jones (same for all 1998 races) 18. 83andJoe posted: 09.17.2013 - 3:16 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) #8 crew chief: ?? The resulting two-car spin saw Little E's first outing in his dad's #3 ACDelco Chevrolet come to airborne end with his car bouncing off the hood of Trickle's #64. Earnhardt, Jr. walked away from this one but his injuries turned out to be much more severe than first thought, the backstretch blowover resulted in his first concussion. He reportedly fell over after race while trying to do an interview with his helmet denting the door of the car, leading to jokes from the crew. He'd be watching from home with headaches and a cough the next day while his dad finally won the 500 and later in the week would have some issues just sitting in the car at the shop. 30. Planned to have a part time Busch team in 98 with his full time Cup driver Ken Schrader driving the car. Ken had a nasty crash in his 125 race a couple days before this and had to wear a special protective vest under his uniform just to tough out driving the Daytona 500 so they pulled him out of this race. They gave the ride to Mike Wallace, who drove full time for the team Ken Schrader owned in the Truck Series at this time. 33. First Glenn Allen's car bicycled on its left side tires after getting spun around, then Joe Bessey launched over the right rear of Mike Cope's car before landing on top of Jeff Krogh's car, which nearly caused both cars to overturn, before Bessey and Krogh slid to a stop with Bessey's car still perched atop Krogh's ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Post a comment:* Your comment may not appear immediately - all comments must be approved by the moderator.
