Those would be the only times that teams could change tires on the car. If you had a flat you had special permission to change that one tire only. The reason for this is cause of South Boston's narrow and tight pit row. It wasn't suited for high speed green flag stops. 5. So laps would freeze at 100 and 200. 6. most posted: 11.01.2007 - 4:26 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) yeah, that was real strange racing to watch, also boring, like the halftime in the truck races, yuk! 7. He was 8th in Busch Points at the time and he finished 33rd in the Cup race. 10. Hokie20 posted: 01.15.2009 - 8:23 am Rate this comment: (1) (1) This race was not good to be leading. Both Dick Trickle and Todd Bodine were spun out while leading in this race. Trickle was caught up when the lapped car of Lyndon Amick spun on the inside after a restart. Bodine and Jeff Green got together later in the race, resulting in the 66 spinning out, but not bringing out the caution. Green had the best car at the end of the race, but Junior held onto the lead due to the slim racing groove at the tiny bullring. Hank Parker Jr. made a surge at the end, but didn't have enough talent to get around the two up front. 11. rob posted: 04.07.2011 - 9:14 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) philip morris was the last car to get in the field on speed. he edged greg marlowe by .007 seconds for the final go-or-go-home spot, then charged to a seventh place finish. 12. b4il3y posted: 04.18.2013 - 1:13 pm Rate this comment: (0) (2) "Hank Parker Jr. made a surge at the end, but didn't have enough talent to get around the two up front." I imagine that may have been a factor in his decision to retire? 16. This Busch Series win marked the first time "Little E" won from the pole in this series and the only time he would do so during his two-year tenure as a series regular. 17.
