Keller was navigating through lapped traffic and Phil Parsons got loose underneath of the leader, causing him to slide into the side of Keller's car. Two laps later, the left rear tire gave way on the IGA Chevy, giving Green an easy victory. Keller limped home to finish on the lead lap. Keller said after the race that it was "one of the most disheartening races I've ever lost". 9. NorthStar Motorsports and Jeff Fuller skipped this race mostly due to a dispute with sponsor Heritage Consumer Product, who weren't paying for the sponsorship for the second half of the season. 15.
