Shane Hall and Brad Loney have their best career runs.

For the record, D.J. Hoelze had a real mechanical faliure. It was not a
S&P.

DJ Hoezle's last lone Busch Series start until IRP in 2005 where he
became one of the few guys to not start and park the #52 car.

This race wasn't your typical short track race in the fact that 2 of the
3 cautions were for teams to change tires on the narrow pit row safely.

14 DNQs for a race at Myrtle Beach! WOW!

Among the DNQs was Andy Santerre who would come back and win the next
race out at Pikes Peak.

Hal Goodson's first start in 7 years

Jeff Green got away with this win in the final few laps.

With four laps to go, Jason Keller had a commanding lead. Keller was
navigating through lapped traffic and Phil Parsons got loose underneath
of the leader, causing him to slide into the side of Keller's car. Two
laps later, the left rear tire gave way on the IGA Chevy, giving Green
an easy victory. Keller limped home to finish on the lead lap.

Keller said after the race that it was "one of the most disheartening
races I've ever lost".

1999, ends in a DNQ.

Allen Jr., and Mark Green.

Nathan Buttke's entry was actually an independent effort using the 89
team's owner points from 1999. NorthStar Motorsports and Jeff Fuller
skipped this race mostly due to a dispute with sponsor Heritage Consumer
Product, who weren't paying for the sponsorship for the second half of
the season.

The Commentators For The Race Were Eli Gold And Larry McReynolds. The
Pit Road Reporters Were Glenn Jarrett And Mike Hogewood.
