Instead, the other teenage phenom, Casey Atwood, won. 2. nomore94 posted: 04.21.2006 - 1:19 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) So many wrecks no real racing so sad. 3. More than 60 cars were entered for this event! This year, even with the Buschwhackers at Milwaukee we had a short field. 4. There were guys who qualifiedfor this race (Wayne Grubb, Hank Parker) or weren't racing in 1999 (Patty Moise, Matt Hutter) 5. webmaster posted: 08.01.2006 - 6:02 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Those extra DNQs (ones without car numbers) were really from a 1998 race, not this race, and that error has been corrected. A similar error affected several other 1999 Busch Series races, and has also been fixed. 6. Altamonteric posted: 11.13.2006 - 4:05 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Casey Atwood's last busch win to 7. Biffrey posted: 10.15.2008 - 5:25 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) was this the race where Kyle Petty was in the booth and left to go check on Adam when he wrecked, and then when they interviewed Kyle while Adam was on the way to the hospital, Kyle said something like "this is why we need to get him out this *beep* busch series with all these idiots that don't know how to drive"? I know it was late in the '99 season. If he was that upset about a minor injury, I feel so bad for the pain he must have felt later on. :( 10. But yeah Dale Jr and Matt Kenseth, fighting for a Busch title, crashed each other in this one when they made contact on the backstretch battling for the lead. Kenseth got the worse of it and was done for the day but Junior got back out and picked up a few spots (and 10 points) before the day was over. 13. stricklinfan82 posted: 07.15.2016 - 12:23 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) To the rear: #35 Amick (driver change; Elliott Sadler qualified the car) 14. I think it's time for you to take a rest. 23. Rich posted: 09.18.2020 - 10:32 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Mike Joy, Buddy Baker and Darrell Waltrip were the commentators.
