He qualified on pole, ahead of the dominant Roush #60, but had absolutely no pace and dropped to the bottom five within the first 30 laps, where he remained all race. Otherwise, it was a no nonsense race with really long green runs. Mark Martin did a great job and came back from a lap down to almost win the race until Jack Sprague ran out of talent while desperately trying to stay 1 lap down. Martin made an amazing avoidance move, but it was enough to allow teammate Jeff Burton to go past on the bottom and take an unexpected win. Always good to see Martin lose these, but there's no question he deserved this one. Nothing much in the way of action for the most part though.
