Kevin Harvick made up a lap under green for jumping the initial start,
with only insignificant help from cautions IIRC.

you're correct, schraderfan. I was at this race, and the crowd was
loving Harvick as he clawed his way back undre green, car after car,
finally getting under Jeff Green for the lead in turn one. He got a HUGE
ovation.

I'd liked Harvick before this, but this race made me a true fan. He's
been my favorite driver since.

There were a couple of Halloween special schemes in this race, each
featuring a classic Universal Monster movie. They are:

#1 - Bob Evans / The Wolfman
#3 - Napa Auto Parts / Dracula
#18 - MBNA / The Mummy
#27 - Castrol GTX / Frankenstein

Justin Labonte originally DNQed for this race, but Richard Jarvis Jr's
#80 was found to have a tire violation in post-qualifying inspection, so
his time was disallowed, and Labonte made the race.

It ultimately didn't fare well for Labonte, as he spent multiple laps in
the garage anyway.

Kieran Dynes becomes both the first British and the first Irish person
to race in the Busch series, and the first Irishman in NASCAR period.
The only other Irish Citizen to race in NASCAR is Conor Daly.

To inform, all people in Northern Ireland are citizens of both the
United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. As a result, drivers and
athletes can choose to compete under the british, Northern Irish, or
Irish flags.

video of race, there is no #79
