I'm not sure if he would have risen to the Cup ranks, but he was a decent Busch Series driver. I guess this is as good a spot as any to point out the class by the Mattioli family (Pocono Raceway owners) who would later name the ARCA garage in memory of Blaise. Thank you. First race for any of NASCAR's top three series following September 11th. 4. It was also his final Top 10. 5. hank posted: 05.23.2006 - 4:17 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Was this the race Angie Skinner poured milk all over that reporter? I seem to recall that some sort of injury was involved. 6. biffle16 posted: 01.05.2007 - 10:21 pm Rate this comment: (0) (0) Jay Sauter finishes the race with a bloody, painful, broken nose. He never scored a top-5 finish in his NA$CAR career. Sucks that he died, though. :( 10. I will always remember sitting directly in front of his fans with their "Rescue" shirts on at Pocono. It was good to see such enthusiasm. Montoursville lost a lot of yongsters in the Flight 800 explosion off NY, too. 11. SK posted: 02.17.2008 - 12:48 am Rate this comment: (0) (0) Rick Markle's Busch Series debut. 12. Hoff had a spare car, but not a spare engine. Nascar allowed him to be placed on the starting grid without an engine, allowing him to be awarded prize money ($9,493) for the weekend. Hoff did not start of course, the reported issue was "ignition". 13.
