I couldn't stand Harvick in '01, warmed up to him the next year and he's one of my favorite drivers now, but he was the entitled punk to end all entitled punks back in '01. Anyway, what happened was Harvick, already mad at Robby Gordon for not letting him lead a lap while Robby was out front, cut his entrance into turn one a bit too tight and hit Kirby's right front. Spun Harvick hard into the wall, unmercifully hard actually, Benny Parsons remarked that if we woke up the next day and the sun was messed up, it was cause Harvick had knocked the Earth askew from its axis. Anyway Harvick gets out like the big man he was and walks over to Kirby, still strapped in his car and probably yap yaps a little before Kirby drives off. Then Kevin gets on TV, I believe he made his "you run with the crap, you wreck with the crap" remark or something, along with saying "Mike Skinner, I miss you," in reference to Robby (driving Mike's former ride, he'd had to get out after his Chicago crash) not letting him lead. Like I said, the guy's one of my favorites now but God almighty was he a punk in 2001. 7. uga buga posted: 12.10.2012 - 4:28 pm Rate this comment: (1) (0) Someone needs to put it on youtube! 8.
